VISA-- Volunteers in Schools in Aldine

Last year Johnson Elementary had 9625 hours of VISA volunteer hours. The help parents provide teachers is vital to a successful year.

Some of the tasks performed by the volunteers included assisting with PTA sales, helping teachers with the creation of bulletin boards, classroom games and activities, cutting out laminated items, assisting on field trips, Santa and Easter Bunny Pictures and various other activities.

Many tasks can be completed at home. If you are interested in being a volunteer at Johnson, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Elvia Martinez.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
