Campus Policies and Procedures
Arrival and Dismissal Times
7:00 a.m.: The school building opens. Please do not drop off your child before the building opens.
7:05 a.m.-7:25 a.m.: Breakfast is served free of charge to all students, every day.
7:25 a.m.: School begins. Any student arriving on campus after 7:50 a.m. is tardy.
3:15 p.m.: Dismissal begins
The scheduled dismissal time for Parker Elementary School is 3:00. If your child’s method of transportation will be changed, please send a note to your child’s teacher. If you forget to send a note please call the office by 2:30 p.m.
Without a written note or oral communication to the front office, changes will not be made to the child’s method of transportation.
Please bring a current driver’s license or photo I.D. each time you visit our school. You will need to use your I.D to check in at front entrance to receive a visitor’s badge. A badge is required for classroom or lunchroom visits, checking out students, and parent/teacher conferences. Please be advised everyone is required to pass through a metal detector and have all bags inspected prior to being granted entrance onto the premises.
Dress Code Guidelines
Parker Elementary is a Standardized Dress school. The uniform consists of navy blue, black or khaki bottoms (skirts, shorts, capris, skorts, jumpers, pants) along with any solid color polo style shirts. A Parker’s spirit shirt and jeans may be worn on Fridays only.
Please note that students will only be allowed to utilize clear or mesh backpacks on campus.
Your child will bring a weekly folder home every Friday. A conduct report and graded assignments from the week’s lessons will be found inside the folder. Please discuss the graded work and the conduct report with your child. If you or your child have any questions about his/her progress, please contact your child’s teacher.
