Our PTA supports the campus in getting additional instructional materials needed for our students and teachers.The monies to make these purchases are raised by PTA during the Membership Drive, Fall Carnival and Sports Day in May. We encourage you to become a member of our PTA! Membership dues are only $5.00. We are looking forward to another fabulous year. VISA– Volunteers in Schools in Aldine
Last year Johnson Elementary had many VISA volunteers. The help parents provide teachers is vital to a successful year!
Some of the tasks performed by the volunteers included assisting with PTA sales, helping teachers with the creation of bulletin boards, classroom games and activities, cutting out laminated items, assisting on field trips, Santa and Easter Bunny Pictures and various other activities.
Many tasks can be completed at home. If you are interested in being a volunteer at Johnson, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Melissa Rodriguez.
