Social Skill of the Month: Kindness
This month at Johnson Elementary, we are focusing on Kindness. Kindness is showing care, compassion, and respect for others through our words and actions. When we practice kindness, we help create a safe and welcoming school for everyone.
Here are a few ways students can show kindness at school:
- Use kind words and a friendly tone with classmates and teachers.
- Offer to help someone who is struggling.
- Invite a new student to join in at recess or lunch.
- Celebrate others’ successes with encouraging words.
- Practice self-kindness by speaking positively to yourself.
Remember: Even small acts of kindness can make a big difference!
