District Reminds Families About Here Comes the Bus App

Disponible en: Español

With the free app, families can track their child’s school bus.

Parents and legal guardians don’t have to wonder if their child’s bus is on time, running early or late.

Difficult road conditions, a substitute driver on an unfamiliar route, or traffic could all delay a school bus on its way to and from school. The Here Comes the Bus app provides parents with real-time bus locations.

The Here Comes the Bus app is free and enables parents/legal guardians to:

  • See the location of your child’s bus both before and after school
  • Confirm that your child’s bus has arrived at the bus stop, at school or both
  • Receive a push notification or email message when the bus is a certain distance from your bus stop, and more

Additional Information Families Need to Know

  • The app tracks the bus route, not the student.
  • Bus route information is based on the student’s residential address.
  • The app will not provide information for Saturday school, extended days, and tutorial routes.
  • Students are expected to be at their bus stop at the time designated by the driver or school. On occasion, a different driver and bus may be sent to cover a route. Parents may not receive notifications when this happens.
  • The app is available to most campuses and programs. However, there are some exceptions.
